I came across this phrase when I started reading the book this evening, felt that I would like to share it with all those who are still reading my blog.

This phrase means that in order to get the devil's candy (benefits), one can exchange friendship for it.

How many people you know had been through this kind of phase? If you have such friends, and you are still are friends with them, it maybe your turn next. Let it go before you get hurt.

In reality, people resort to anything to acquire their means and wants, let alone the insignificant 'friendship', as the saying goes, "there are no friends in the battlefield, just enemies.."

What advice I can give to such people is that 'What comes around, will goes around'.

It's been a while since I had last blogged.. Seriously I do not have the time to do so and have nothing to blog about. I felt that blogging about the mundane life of Jason serves no purpose at all... Haha

But I can't bare to like close down this blog of mine.. It has been my online venting duct for my happiness, sadness and anguish for almost a decade since my secondary school years!

Singapore Dragonboat Festival 2011

Being a dragonboat rower is certainly ain't easy, we literally has to row our guts out.

I am a noob and a new member of Friends United Dragonboat Team. I am certainly very honoured to be out rowing for Boat B at the Singapore Dragonboat Festival 2011. Though my boat did not qualify for the semi-finals, but the experience and synergy I gained from being on the boat to race is certainly a priceless gift I got from the race as a souvenir. The thought of letting the boat beside us surpass us and qualify for the semi-finals is certainly gonna stay in my heart forever. This can only means that we have to train harder to surpass other teams in our next race!

Friend United Dragonboat Team and the race Boat A really inspired me and gave me a sense of belonging to the team. The team is full of nice individuals who rowed their best in the race, it's been a long time since I cheered so hard and be excited for competitions like SDBF. The last time I felt soooo excited was when I was in Jurong Secondary School when my school's basketball team got into finals and were competing with Raffles if I am not mistaken.

I felt it, I felt the sense of belonging, I felt that I wanted to be part of the team, I felt that I want to win as a team even if I am not out there rowing. Maybe this is what I called genuinely out there to give moral support, it really inspired me to work harder for the team and makes sure the next race, I am out there rowing for the finals and not as spectators.

It donned on me that it's the sense of belonging, team spirit and synergy that the whole team must have in order to soar great heights. And at this moment, I felt all these three factors and that's what keep me in the team.

National Vertical Marathon 2011

Let me share my experiences going for the National Vertical Marathon which took place last Sunday morning. All of you should try it at least once in your lifetime. 63 floors, climbed and conquered though I was already breathless at the 17th floor ~ when I reached the top, I was rewarded with a nice scenic view of the Marina Bay area, and of course Jelly legs...

General Elections 2011

Long time no blogging!
Work has been good all these while except for the shifts implemented for the PR Department during the General Elections period.
Stayed up till 3AM on Saturday night to wait for the results of the General Elections. My first time voting was an experience and breeze I guessed. I was wearing like slips, army shorts and a singlet carrying an outrigger paddle into Hua Yi Secondary about 8 plus in the morning with my mother on Saturday. Needless to say who we vote for because the other party is simply too weak...
The results were out and we lost a Foreign Affairs Minister, broke Singapore History by acquiring a GRC for Workers' Party but I believed that we lost a very capable Foreign Affairs Minister. At the very least, we have more opposition party members in Parliament for more voices.
Sad yet Happy for the Singapore Political Scene. Oh wells, isn't that's life?

Last night my colleagues including my General Manager stayed until quite late to work on the materials for our superior today. Luckily all went well and our efforts did not go down the drain... Phew what a relief haha.

3AM is the time my colleagues and I left the office.
First time of my working life, I worked till so late, was kinda surprised I did not doze off...
But all was fun and interesting... has a feeling this erratic working hours will come knocking at my door again,
soon... very soon... :(

Actually I also learned a lot... so guess it's worthwhile.

Time to do some house keeping

I swept the cob webs in my blog about 5 months ago when I was very free then.

Guess I will do some house keeping again. Since it is nearing the end of the year, I was reluctant to shut down this blog is because it has been with me for quite some time and I do not have the capacity to like print out every single little posts that I had blogged from the time I set up this blog.

This blog became a memorial piece of me, became a venting duct for me, became a place where I shared my thoughts and happiness to the people around me. I love my little online diary though I know that it maybe viewed by a lot of anonymous people. I do get nasty comments in my comment columns before, but fanned them off by stating that if you don't like my blog, you jolly well stay out of it. My friends even supported me on that.

I had been keeping this blog quite low key since a few years back as I do not want people to know the existence of this blog haha, so that I can like bitches about certain people without that certain people knowing that I am bitching about them. It is quite fun actually, but I felt that this blog should 'see the light' again soon haha, maybe on her birthday perhaps or when she is given a new skin and a name.

I will think of it and post soon.

A story about selfless

I didn’t really hear the first part of the story on yes 933 but it’s meaningful enough, in line with what I posted earlier. “When you do something for someone, you don’t expect any returns.”

The story goes, a man was jailed for something for 20 years, he told his wife about the news, his wife left him at his most depressed period. He went to jail sad and depressed, feeling that there is no meaning in his life.

One day, he got a visitor, but he don’t have any relatives in New York thus there wouldn’t be anyone visiting him. It was the uncle from the floral shop. The uncle brought him a bouquet of flowers. Though to others, it may mean nothing, but to him, it re-ignite hope and love in his life.

(what I guessed is, he was jailed because of something major he committed at the uncle’s store)

He began to study very hard in jail and completed his studies and was released earlier than the sentenced date, not long after set up a software company and became a multi-millionaire.

He wanted to thanks the florist uncle but found that the uncle went bankrupt a few years ago and moved back to his hometown, but he managed to find him in the end.
Thanked him and stated that he will set up a fund under his name, to share the love and hope to the future generations.

Small things go a long way, you give a person a lighted candle, and the person may repay back with maybe a whole day of daylight. But don’t expect any rewards or returns just because you helped, it’s selfless…

Sometimes I really wondered...

Why dwell on unhappy stuff?

the answer to that will be: We are humans.

it's human nature to make ourselves miserable and sad.

thus we need to look at things openly,

like fast food - order, buy, eat and throw.

Sad, anger, hatred, jealously should be processed in this way.

But can we be able to do it?

Just like desperate housewives - Bree van de kamp?

Always treating everything like as if nothing happens,

always maintaining her composure and emotions.

For me at least, I can't.

My friend called me a real person.

Yups, I am... very real... everything I said is me...

I do carry a shield at times,

that is when I do not know you,

or simply has reservations on your character.

I also hope that people around me can do the same,

but thats too good to be true, if it does,

there will be no war in the world,

no politics in office.

For you to truely know me,

you have to show me your true self first.

Life is too short to be dwelling on unhappiness and complicated emotions,

what you want to become, want to do, just do it.

It's just a matter whether you will?

That's the problem I have now...

It's been quite a while...

Inside of me had a lot to say but I do not know how to begin with.

Met some new friends, but I really do not know whether they will be just fair weather friends,
or friends who will like last...

Guess that I have neglected this blog for some time...

Recently met some friends over at num college, they seemed super duper nice, but some are weird... haha... like sms-ing a group of people stating some weird comments. Weird... anyway... met up with one for gym and chatted with one over the phone... It was good, I dun really feel awkward at all.

This morning, on bus 502 express... just am amused that a guy pressed the bell several times, wanting to get off at the bus stop after Chevrons, but the bus did not stop, and he pressed again at Clementi station and subsequent bus stops... the bus still did not stop. I think the lady standing beside him was amused too and told him that bus 502 do not stop after certain stops and goes all the way to Orchard Road.

I really can imagine how helpless the man (prolly a foreign worker) felt after hearing from the lady... put yourself in his shoes, I WILL feel the same way. Having boarded a one way ticket to hell... haha then you have to travel back to earth again...

Busy but Wondrous Weekend

It’s time to start my blogging again.

I just realized that my weekends had been very busy with activities recently. Last Saturday, as usual went for my routine paddling session at Sentosa, after which my friends and I went to sun tan at Club Islander at Palawan Beach with Sprite & Potato Wedges! Haha damn relaxing with nice beach chairs… and hear the waves splashing against the shoreline and wind brushing your delicate skin complemented with nice music playing from the beach club such as Westlife oldies and more… Sooooo nice…

I met up with my friends and played some Frisbee and Volleyball until when the dark clouds began to gather around 3-4pm, we left the beach for dinner at ECP.

The places in ECP are good dinner/chill hangout places which I will introduce in the subsequent Happy Friday Hangout. Look forward to my blog entry on Friday.

On Sunday, went for my HP TRI-SWIM event at Tanjong Beach, Sentosa. My very first open sea swim event. It was great, though considered very slow for a 1 Km Swim, I saw the timing for the 1^st person to complete it, the timing was like 16 mins… I took 30 mins… haha…

Happy Friday Hangout - Jurong Safra Kbox

Kbox is very common in Singapore, I believed that everyone of you out there has been to one before right?

But have you been to one which has a theme, and certainly one with a new device for selection of song?

Yes, that's the Kbox in the newly opened Jurong Safra, for the WEST-terners, it's so convenient for you! Just go and have some singing fun!

The theme of the Kbox in Jurong Safra will certainly brings you back to the eighties of Singapore. The whole kbox setting is of the traditional chinese shophouses/ 客桟 (Guest House) with a sigboard hanging beside each room stating a certain chinese name. When you step into the hallway, you can very feel the whole ambience and sees bird cages hanging down from ceiling littered the ceiling as you walked past each room.

The device used to select song is also one of a kind, using touch screen to select a song but it is anchored at one corner. thats the only disadvantage, you have to move yourself to the edge of the sofa to select the song. But overall, its a nice avenue for venting out all your sorrows, happinesses and frustrations, just sing your hearts out in KBOX!

At least that's what I always did in the past till now.

A Pic A Day Cyclists 07052010

Thought cycling on the pavement is not allowed in Singapore? Why are there still this bicycle gang still cycling on the pavement which may cause accidental hurt to pedestrians who are walking on the pavement? Somemore they are in a group of four...

Well this is a debatable issue isn’t it? Cycling on the road is dangerous because you may get knocked down by incoming vehicles, we also do not have eyes behind our heads, and how would I know if the vehicles are going to knock me down? But if cycling on the pavement, cyclists may endanger walking pedestrians? HOW HOW HOW? I also don’t have the answers to that even though there are cycling paths constructed for cycling but they are not everywhere! We need more!

What is your definition of Impulse?

Yes, mostly impulse is caused at the spur of that moment that your emotions take over the rational part of your brain and you made the decision or carry out that action. When was the last time you act on your impulse? Well, I think the times I act on impulse were purchasing stuffs and online registration for events. The feeling is SO strong that drive my emotions to take over the rational part of me like, “Do you have enough money?” versus “No matter what, I want the album”. Some thing of that sort of statements starts floating about in your mind.

Since World Cup is around the corner, let's review the classic photo of what happened at the previous World Cup. Still remember the Headbutt that Zidane did at the world cup about 4 years ago? Acted on Impulse? I believed so.

Impulse can also leads to undesired consequences, like unwanted pregnancies which mostly are teenagers acted on the spur of that moment, on impulse to have pre-marital sex with their partners without having any protection at all. Or beat up someone on that spur of anger, acted on impulse and landed him/herself in court cases. Can anything good come out when you based your actions on impulse?

I believe each and everyone has their own definition of impulse, what my opinions are that it can be a good thing when you can’t make any decision at all, follow your instinct at that moment and ‘just do it’!

Under the weather today

Not exactly the day for me today.

Today wasn’t my most pleasant day for me, neither was yesterday. Yesterday, got stucked in UBI for like two hours just to find the Audio Technica office, damn pissed and was like sweating and drenched having to walk around like idiot to find the place. Finally, I gave up and took a cab which costs me three bucks to get to the damn forsaken place just to get my consolation prize which I won from a lucky draw during the IT fair held in Suntec a couple of months ago. Don’t think it’s worth the effort.

Quite troubled by a few matters happened yesterday, don’t want to talk about it, don’t want to make any decisions at all. Can someone tell me what must I do?

This morning, DIARRHEA! Quite bothersome, keep running to the toilet and I still managed to stay alive in office, great isn’t it?

Hopes the rest of the day will be a better one.

A Pic A Day (Luggage on top of a Taxi)

As usual, I am in my usual express 502 bus on my way to work, and then I saw this peculiar taxi drove past the bus. I am quite puzzled why the taxi driver tied the luggage on top of its taxi instead of putting it in his boot? When I was thinking about the question, the bus caught up with the taxi and I took a closer look, all the clothes were like spilling out of the luggage!? At that moment then I realized that the luggage was a fake -_-|||, it's AN ADVERTISEMENT! For a travel insurance I think. Arrrgg…
Haha dumb Jason on a Tuesday Morning thanks to the Kbox session yesterday night till midnight… Hope it brightens your Tuesday afternoon too =)

A Pic A Day 03052010 (Abarth)

This afternoon while I am on my way for my dental appointment, I saw this car with a very weird logo. A brand logo that I had never seen before, thus I took a photo of it and did some research.

It took me a while before I found the name of the brand. The brand logo is shaped like a shield with the word ‘Abarth’ on top, with red, white background and a black scorpion as the core design of the brand logo.

Abarth is an Italian racing car maker founded by Austrian-Italian Karl (Carlo) Abarth in Turin in 1949.

The car was yellow in colour and from what I checked online, the car is a model from Fiat – Stilo but its brand is ‘Abarth’. Driven by two ladies, not sure whether they are Caucasians or Chinese haha, also didn’t get to see their faces… Haizzzz.

Happy Friday Hangout - Sukiya Japanese Hotpot Restaurant

Hey I know I am late, but at least I still bring you a hangout place that you and your friends may want to hangout NEXT friday!

Better late than never! Sukiya Japanese Hotpot restaurant at Marina Square. Nice food, nice soup and warm service staff!

Last last friday, I organised a birthday celebration for my friend, initially it was to be held at MOF@ Marina Square but the birthday boy suggested to be at Sukiya Japanese Hotpot.

Since Mr Birthday boy suggested the place, I had no choice but to follow suit.

It was also my first time at the place, nice ambience with the feel of japanese inside. The service staff were quick to attend to our requests, personally made the kimchi soup base for each hotpot (That i am surprised, thought that we have to mix the soup base ourselves). The other soup base is shabu shabu, which I find a bit salty for my tongue. I LOVE the kimchi soup base, but my friends at the other table love the Shabu shabu soup base.

The other surprise is that THE MEAT aren't available in the 'Take all you want' trays at the buffet table. They are instead packed in bento boxes, you only can order via the service staff but they don't limit the number of boxes you order. The variety of raw food is quite alright, but still can improve in the assortment. The price is also reasonable for an authentic japanese hotpot - $24.90 for weekday dinner, I think lunch is cheaper.

Besides, I think my group was lucky to have the chef walking out of the kitchen to like celebrate the birthday together with us. Its a funfilled evening for all of us!

A Pic A Day! (29042010) Being 18

It's just random that I found this peculiar guy with a t-shirt with the number 18 on it, the number is the core of the tee design, quite eye catching thus decided to take a photo of the guy. What can 18 means to you? For me it's the year which I turned 18 in 2005!

What were you doing when you were eighteen? Let us do some recollection now. Being eighteen can meant a lot to some of the people out there, at least it is for me as it’s the time I became a teenager. This was also the time I started my BBQ World Tour, it became like an annual event for me since then, all the way until the time I turned twenty one where I held my birthday in a chalet with buffet.

Organising a BBQ isn’t the simplest and easy thing to do, you know what I meant if you had organized one. I remembered one birthday, I am only busying with refilling the water to and fro from the toilet, did not have the time to even eat much of the BBQ food. It was good man, the very event where ALL my friends came from CSCC peeps, Student Council peeps, Secondary School mates and many others, treat the event as a gathering for updates and recollection of the past.

18 years old is a year of fun and laughter for me. Wow! It’s been like five years ago, quite a long way far back into when I am still a teenager.

My Very 1st Outrigger Paddle

My very 1^st outrigger paddle, thanks to Delphina Yap for selling the paddle to me.

Though it maybe a second hand paddle, it still cost me a considerable amount of cash because

1) it has only been used a few times,

2) it’s only 6 months old, and

3) it is in a very good condition.

Can’t wait to try the paddle out this weekend, hope it will serve me well. =)

Worst still, I went to see the schedule of the bus, the bus that I had missed was 1804 and the next bus approximate timing is 1918?! WTH! Thought the time 1730 – 1900 is the busiest time of the day as many office workers will be off work by then…

But luckily, the bus came like twenty minutes later, which drove a bit of my frustration away. It added on when the bus was stuck in a massive jam on AYE on my journey home. Sianzified!

I also witnessed a scene where a motorist stared at the driver in the car behind him, then gesturing at the driver on the reason for keep horning at him. Got so angry that he got off his motorbike and went over to the car knocking at the windscreen and reasoning out, did not see most of it as my bus took off the moment the traffic lights turned green.

Was it because of the jam? Causing frustration and impatience among drivers of all sorts?

Sporty Sunday! Nature Run 15Km + Tri-Swim

Sporty Sunday.

Indeed a sporty Sunday for me and JJ! Fancy waking up at 6 am on a Sunday morning to take part in a run at MacRitchie Reservoir. Yes, that’s what we did! Overall it was a challenging run for me, there were a lot of up slopes and down slopes, the running path were rocky and slippery at times. It took a hell out of my stamina especially in the up slope parts, completely draining my stamina at times.

What I like about the run was that, it seemed as though I had ran through a jungle which consists of climbing up and down steep slopes, running through little streams, muddy roads with lots of potholes and rocky/pebbles paths. It seemed as though you were trekking! Indeed fun and placed your endurance strength to test.

I finally had to give up nearing the end of the run because my legs can’t go on anymore, and I need water to hydrate my body, the whole run was lacked of water stations! It may also due to the fact that I chiong too much in front, a bit disappointed though for my performance. Nevertheless I completed the race with a 1:36:50 timing which I find still acceptable.

At 2pm, the very same day, I went for the Tri-Swim Swim Trials organsied by HP, my tired body just glided through the water lazily, and my mind was like thinking when the 20 laps are going to be completed. Just when I was thinking about it at my 12 laps, my left leg CRAMPED! Oh my! I was so afraid that I cannot carry on any further, luckily it subsided and I managed to complete the whole 20 laps! And passed the swim trials! YAY!

Tired and satisfied that I managed to complete both events eventually though not at my best performance but I COMPLETED THEM!

Outrigger Saturday (24042010)

Outrigger Saturday.

It was a sunny weather on Saturday. To further describing it, the sun was blazing comfortably that Saturday morning, great for embarking on a paddling journey around the southern islands. Indeed, even the sea at TanjongBeach was crystal clear, very nice dipping into the sea water, it made my whole week of tiredness and frustration goes away that very instant.

Though the paddling session had its own ups and down, you can really feel that at times, the boat did not move as fast as it should have, but it was a fulfilling session. On our journey back, we actually witness a rare scene of a huge sea turtle surfacing the water, and making a big splash with its fins before going back into the deep sea, I was at the front seats of the boat thus didn't get a very good view of it. Thought that it was some BIG fish but closer look at it, it was a sea turtle.

Hope to see more stuffs next time out paddling around the isles.

Happy Friday Hangout! Opiume Bar

Last Friday, my company get-together session was at Opiume Bar, Indochine, Clarke Quay. I was quite impressed by the ambience inside the bar, though posh and cozy, it carries a Balinese taste with luxurious hanging chandeliers, great sofas which can accommodate about more than seven persons with soft music as the background. Being quite a posh bar, I am totally unimpressed by their service at first, because I expect a better service to their customers, the waiter who was taking our orders just simply can’t explain clearly what he meant, not that his articulation of English is not good, just that he don’t listen carefully to what his customers request.

For example, my colleague was asking about how many servings can the platter serve, he just say that you can order the other platter which has more servings, then when we ask again, he stated that the platter that we are referring to, we can sort of ‘upsize’ it to have more servings. My question is why didn’t you just answer our question straight then tell us that the platter can be ‘upsized’?

Yes, I am totally unimpressed. Later when my boss came, being one who can’t stand the cooling air-conditioned, he requested for to move to the alfresco area. It was nice though, with the long table and high chair which can accommodate all of us. The breeze and fresh air was nice. The service of other waiting staff was good too, clearing your plates once you are done, and replacing them with new ones.

Besides, it’s a nice chill out place if you do not care about the pricey bites like grilled seafood platter and mixed platter which cost $75 and $55 respectively. The drinks I had were non-alcoholic costs about $12-$17. They were nice, mixed fruit juices and soft drinks, ‘Safe Sex on The Beach’ – name was a bit corny, and the other one I forgot.

Guess quality food and drinks come with luxurious price.?

No harm considering this place if you have the ability to spend.

What's your take on P-Platers?

Personally, this blog entry isn’t to like criticize these p-platers or whatsoever. It’s just my personal take on P-Plater. No offence to any P-Platers out there.

Every time, I sees one of these red triangle with luminous yellow background on the road, I will reminisce the days when I started learning driving, to my first ‘TP’ (driving practical) and the final glorious moments when I passed my ‘TP’ on my second try. It’s indeed ‘memorable’ yet ‘miserable’.

First of all, learning to drive ain’t cheap, and you still have to keep on paying to learn when you failed your first try. In whole of my life, I had never had such bad experience with teachers/instructors. My driving instructor is the worst encounter I ever had. Get scolded like nobody people, like “You are so terrible, you know…” and “teach you so many times, you still never learn..”. Quite impatient for the fact that he is a teacher. And in order to keep his passing rate for students HIGH, he forgo those he think will fail the very first time, like ME. I just kept changing driving instructors, and worst of all, different instructors taught different things, quite difficult to adapt and digest.

Luckily my last driving instructor was good and patient, who led to my passing of my ‘TP’ for the second try, screw the others.

Speaking of which, everyone starts off with as a P-Platers on the roads, often get bullied by experienced drivers and impatient taxi drivers. P.S my dad is a taxi driver so won’t criticize too much on that. Sometimes, we just have to accommodate a little when we see P-Platers as we were once ‘GREEN’ on the roads. Though I had some dangerous encounters with them, but just be careful when they are around on the roads, to prevent any unnecessary accidents.

These two days, I can’t manage to capture any photos to illustrate my A PIC A DAY! Thus I would like to share some of my observations in bus, waiting for bus or simply walking down the streets.

The day before, I board a feeder bus 334, am surprised by the polite young bus driver, probably at most late twenties to thirty? It is very seldom to be able to meet such courteous driver, and not bad looking too. Then behind me was a lady, also very young and pretty too. As you know there are always a seat just approximately 1 step from the entrance and directly behind the bus driver. I sat in the seat behind the bus driver, while the lady sat on the one just beside the entrance.

The seats that both of us were seated in, most of the time can only occupy one person, but if you are of smaller size, you can fit another nicely. I kept looking at the lady; she took out some stuff looking like timesheets/cards, and began counting, while listening to her mp3.

What’s so peculiar about this lady that kept me noticing her for my whole journey?
She kept looking at the bus driver, and smiling to herself. If I am able to see the expression of the bus driver, which I very much love to, but I can’t. I find it quite sweet in every sense. 爱昧 are the only two words to describe the lady if she doesn’t know the bus driver. ‘Damn Sweet lah’ are the three words if she is the bus driver’s girlfriend to be sitting in the bus to wait for him to knock off from work.

It just sends down a sweet feeling into me that very evening… haha don’t understand why.

A Pic A Day! (21042010) Husband and Wife

It is quite rare nowsdays to find such motorbike running around Singapore, it can be referred to as 'Endangered Species' close to extinct kind of motorcycle with a section where you can drive another person or cargo everywhere you goes. What is funny is that this Grandpa ride very slowly, from what I can see on the bus, the BMW behind the Grandpa was quite impatient with the slow speed, eventually over took it.

Taking a closer look at the passenger, seems like a lady, maybe the wife of the Grandpa. Driving her probably to the temple, because the cargo with the Grandma seemed to be Joss Sticks, Incense and etc. What a sweet couple right? My point that I want to make today is that the divorce rates around the world including Singapore is getting alarmingly high. How many married couples can stay till their hair turned white like the Grandpa and Grandma above? Very few couples, I guessed. The reasons will be that they might not love or understand each other enough and gotten married on impulse, or maybe due to 'a pleasant surprise' by the child in the mother's stomach. These can all be part of the reasons that the divorce rate is so high but between a relationship, there are a few values that we need to bear in mind. Compromise, Acceptance, Accomodate, Appreciate and Forgive. One must learn to accept each other flaws, compromise and accomodate during an argument, Appreciate one's effort and learn to give and take and last of all forgive each other wrongs (which is the most difficult of all).

This morning I saw this YELLOW porsche Cayman S and find it so stunning on the road thus I took a photo of it and did some editing to make it nicer before posting the photo here. Nice right, though I would love to own one such car but I feels that it is a complete wastage of money to be driving such a car on the roads of Singapore. If you were in big countries like Malaysia or Australia, I can understand that owning such a car will allow you to speed across long distance expressways and roads but not here in the congested roads of Singapore with the number of traffic lights. Impractical. Unless you want to be an attention seeker... yups.

Undoubtedly, it's a beautiful piece of work on the road.

Finally the lovely weekends had arrived. I am glad but I still have to wake up at 6.30 as per the weekdays.

WHY?

Because I have my outrigger canoeing at Tanjong Beach every saturday, rain or shine, I will be there.

It is sort of like a WAY for me to destress or vent out my unhappiness/frustration for the past 5 days, am really glad that I took up the sport. Though it is very taxing on your endurance & mental strength, nevertheless all those who had tried it liked it a lot!

Personally, I love sea sports, so outrigger canoeing is definitely THE sport for me. The weather at sentosa today was fantastic, a really good time for us to paddle to the southern islands - Kusu island, Sisters island and St john island. The whole session was great with all the waves slapping against your canoe and water gushing into your canoe when you are making a turn, or crossing the channels to the isles. I had also enjoyed the paddling to the islands, it's sort of a getaway for me. Whenever I am paddling, I will forget about almost everything, and completely focus on driving your blade down into the water and making your canoe glide. All 6 of us have to cordinate and paddle in sync for the canoe to glide, not neglecting the POWER too.

I am not that good at describing places and food but will try my best to write it as vividly as I could and provided I find nice places to hangout. Trying to make it a bi-weekly entry.

Currently, I have a few places in mind which I had been to and found out that they are nice chill out places to hangout after a busy and hectic week. Trust me this is a very nice place that my friends and I enjoyed chilling out at.

The place is called is EM BY THE RIVER.
Where is it?
To put it simple and concise, it’s just below the Gallery Hotel, if you know the location of the old butter factory, Em by the river will be near the location, just walk straight down, you will find the place. If not there is always a 2.80 on the road for you to flag down to get to Em by the river. *laughs

What I like about the place?
The Alfresco concept, comparable to that of Timbre. I find that Timbre is very crowded and noisy, with the live band going on, I wonder how one can chill and talk to one another without raising their voice. I am not banishing Timbre to hell, Timbre also has its pros, that’s what attract the crowds.

Enough with Timbre, I am not introducing it anyway. Em by the river as its name suggests, it’s by the Singapore River. The place is separated into two sections, the indoor seating and alfresco seating. Normally, people will choose the alfresco seating as it’s more airy, spacious, windy and comfortable. The whole place is littered with wooden like benches coupled with nice cushions. I love the ambience and atmosphere there, though surrounded by trees; it is not enclosed but much more spacious than that of Timbre, but definitely of much smaller scale.

Drink wise, I would say it is quite affordable given the place and ambience. I am not that much of a drinker, only tries a few cocktails, beers and my favorite – Bombay Sapphire with soda water, not bad. Soft drinks wise, you can try their EM SODA, unique taste and different for those non-drinkers.

Bites wise, eM Cheesy Fries is a must try when you come to Em. It is very nice. Same goes for eM Crispy Chicken Wings nice smell and delicious.

With nice drinks, food, how can I forget their live band on Friday Nights. This husband and wife band carries themselves with only her vocal and his guitar. Sometimes, they will have duets, or the husband will sing individually but for most cases, the wife will do most of the singing. Decent performance with their interactivity with the audience, I enjoyed their performances a lot whenever I am there.

If you are free, try visiting this place, definitely worth your time and effort.

A Pic A Day (Grumpy Weather with Grumpy People)

What a Friday Morning to begin with. Grumpy weather with grumpy people at a crowded bus stop, testing their patience while waiting for their public transportation. In this photo, noone seems to be in a very good mood at this point of the week. Coupled with the wet weather, makes the mood even lower.

Public transportation is it the way to go? I believe that whenever Singaporeans are stucked in this kind of weather and bus stops, they will certainly complained at the long wait for buses. Even when the buses came, it is too crowded to even board the bus. Similar situation with the MRT, packed like a sardine especially after Jurong East MRT Station.

What I don't like about MRT is that YOU don't get to sit at all, all the way from Jurong to Cityhall. At least when I take express 502, I get to sit for an hour journey.

It is certainly much more convenient to be driving in your own car in such weather, lest the traffic jams.

Sometimes it is really interesting to be observing people's expressions and actions around you.

A Pic A Day, Running...

Today is Thursday... Aren't you glad, for those working personnels working 9-5 everyday, that it's one more day to the weekends?! For me, I am certainly looking forward to Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays everyday from the moment I started working. Those are the days that you can take a break from loads of work and recharge, unwind and refresh before starting working again on Mondays.

This cycle just keeps on going... Have you ever measured your weight before you started working then and now? If you were a deskbound warrior, I think you will know why? The mundane and busy work schedule of yours rendered you no time to exercise, I envied those people who actually has the time to have morning jogs around parks or pavement every day, I wished I had the luxury but I don't.

My message to you is, "Get your butts up, no matter how busy you are, take some time off to exercise and keep healthy!"

This photo meant a lot, it was taken around 815 am while I am on the bus to work, and this person is running... guess that he has a later working time or probably on leave today. I wished I am him, I like running and jogging.

Sometimes in life, you will realised that you begin to run away from something. Probably something that you have no control of, or simply running away from the reality you are in now, or something that you don't have the courage to face. But have you ever wondered that simply running away from that something, will that solve the whole issue or problem? There will be one day that you still have to face it ultimately. Why not garner all of your courage and confidence and face it bravely? Won't that be better than running? Running through your life will be just like this photo, 'Blurrish', you will not remember anything, thus at times, you will need to slow down your pace and take a look around you, I believe that everything will seem much clearer and memorable.

'No Bowing to America' is the title for this photo on mypaper today as its cover news.

Quite a photo taken by reporters on the Nuclear Summit in Washington. I believed that this photo can certainly be used as case studies for future social studies or even students taking history. In the past, Americans used to be much more superior than the rest of the world, but what can this photo tells us about the situation now? After the collapse of American's economy, the status as a Superpower nation in the global stage seems to have been shaken, on the other hand after the staging of world renowned Beijing Olympics, China status in the global stage has been more affirmed by the world nations. Not forgetting, China is a growing nation, with lots of investment opportunities, consistently catching up with the western powers.

Back to the photo, it's certainly interesting to have seen such a comment 'No Bowing to America' for this photo, and this seems to make Asians (Hu Jin Tao) superior than the hosting nation President (Barack Obama). If it were in the past, will reporters ever made such a comment? The world is round and it will just keeps circulating, thus this is such a logic.

Today, just want to share with you one of the destination that the bus 502 passed by every morning. Guess I am just fascinated by this creative structure that the place created to attract people to take pictures there.

It is the Flirting Point at The Singapore Arts Museum, there are even benches there on the grass patch just beside the main room. I didn't get a very nice photo of it today because of the fast moving bus.

What is the Singapore Arts Museum doing? Driving more people to flirt, haha and up the birth rates in Singapore?

Guess so. It's a nice place to take photos, I encouraged everyone to visit it!

A Pic A Day (Cycle V.S Driving)

Today I cheated a little, I took 2 photos while on my journey to work on bus 502. The car queue simply amazed me on the road, it certainly explained why the Singapore government takes such drastic measures to curb the number of cars on the road by implementing ERP and now keep increasing the COE for cars. It will just keep increasing and it certainly won't drop. Can I ask then, how can we afford to purchase a car in future with such expensive COE, and getting seasoned parking is SO DIFFICULT trust me, ever increasing petrol prices, ERPs and etc.

Which leads me to my 2nd photo which I found increasingly interesting when I took it. I found out that the guy despite being tall and long was riding on such a small bicycle compared to other bikes on the road, just find it amusing. But come to think of it, if everyone in Singapore cycles or take public transport to work, the world will be a better place?!

The ANSwer: FAT HOPE! Public Transport...hmm you will know what I meant.

It's my HAIRCUT day today, damn happy to be able to trim my hair!

Met Mr Dic Dic today, he went all the way to Haar Attic to find me even though the other guys decided not to meet up, what a friend sia! Will miss him when he goes Aust to study.

Ok my main topic is to introduce Basil Alcoves to you guys out there.
It's a small cafe situated just beside the road. Nice ambience except for the noise of the road.

The Menu - Appetizers, Main Dish, Sides, Deserts etc. I find out that the price of the pastas are reasonable, average ranged just below 10 bucks, except for one or two seafood pastas which I remembered correctly slightly above 10.

I ordered Shrimp + something, forgot the name. It was great, reasonable filling and surprisingly a huge number of prawns (about 11) and they are QQ and fresh. Damn nice.
Dickson ordered the main dish - Duck sumthing. Very nice presentation of the dish, equivalent to that of the italian restaurant, which explains the price of the main dishes, mostly 20 and above but there 16 - 18 bucks dishes. I tried some and it's nice, and goes well with the special ingredients mixed with vinegar. It's really worth the money.

Not forgetting the Shiitake Mushrooms we ordered for sides. Simply delicious. When I think we should visit the cafe more often, there is no reason why YOU GUYS out there won't want to try.

Clique within clique, Good or Bad?

Today, let's us discuss the topic on cliques. Will be a short one since I am a bit tired after a long day outside.

Part One.

Everyone starts off being a stranger in a whole group of people in a new environment though there may be chances of meeting familiar faces in the group but usually the chances are slim. There are several criterias in forming a clique. Let's start off with strangers and strangers, these people are what I referred to as 'Fresh', they are the ones who do not know anyone in the group nor have any friends within the group. Thus when the situation forces them to interacts, they have no choice but to spark off a conversation or people will automatically come to interact with you. If there are no such environment that forces the FRESH, they won't be bother to start a communication unless they are interested with a particular person whom attracts their attention.

The second group of people are people who have friends within the group, either they come together or coincidentally meets each other in the group. They are the most influential people in the group, the most potential to form cliques within the group. The bigger their known friends in the group, the more influential they are. They are what I called 'Ripe' , they are the ones who choose people to be in their clique and not people choose them. Most frequently, they are the voices in the big group if they are vocal enough because they are comfortable with known people around, thus not afraid of the new environment.

The third group are what I called 'Half Boiled', they are the ones who has friends within the group whom they did know BUT they are either school mates/hi-bye friends/lost contact friends/simply friends' friends. Normally, our intuition will tells us that unless we are forced to interact, they are the ones whom we will first look for. Otherwise, can avoid then will avoid. At least that's my mentality. Thus this group belongs to the 'either clique' or 'not clique at all'. Quite a sitting on the fence situation.

So when this stage where cliques are formed, will there be any more progression within the clique?

What do you think? Humans are a 'difficult to decipher' species, there are bound to be arguements, disagreements and fights within these cliques. Worst situation will be internal politics, which symbolises destruction of a clique. Prays hard, this will never happens.
I felt that clique within clique are generally bad in a way that it brews disharmony within your clique of friends, which may states that you are more comfortable with that certain group of friends but not the other half. Means in general, unless there are a major occasion where everyone needs to be present, most of your time, you will be going out with your clique that were formed within the clique. It's good in a way that they tends to be the ones who knows you the best, common interests thus having more valuable time together.
But have you ever thought of what will be the feelings of the other people in the clique? Of course it will be that of unbalanced when that clique started chit chattering about their small small outings.
I guess such situation can't be avoided as time goes by. Putting this in the context of marketing. When targeting a new market, you will have to survey (which is the 3 categories of people you belongs to) then you will know what course of action you will take to enter the market (forming clique). So as time goes by, more competitors come into the market (all getting to know better of one another), the market began saturated thus need to find niche areas to target on in the market itself (thus forming cliques within clique because you are more comfortable with that certain group of friends).

My stand on this topic will be that it's neither good nor bad, but I am more inclined towards the good side because being in a big group, if you are not loud enough or funny or interesting enough, you will become transparent in the group, just absorbing and taking in everything like a sponge. Difficult to merge in unless the topics are the ones that you are familiar with. BUT within a the clique that you formed within the bigger clique, contains people sharing your similar thoughts, interest and etc. easier to be yourself and get heard within a smaller group.
thus it's better... in my context... or maybe it's just me la... take my comments with a pinch of salt.

Oh my god... tomorrow will be the day that I playing gooseberry, I should have guessed from the start that I should have my leg put into their boat, haha what to do... will it feel weird tomorrow? Hopes not.

I have asked this question umpteen times throughout my 22 years in this mortal world, what is it like liking or loving someone? Will you think of her like every hour, every minutes or even every seconds? Won't it be too drastic? Or just want to see her every now and then? Will want to give her all the nice things and sweet talk beyond your imagination. I had been through these experiences, it can be sweet when you really fall for that person but deeply miserable when you are in the state of a 'just breakup situation'.

Whatever... who cares... wait till I am in those two states, then I will think of solutions to solve them. Which is normally the fact. But have you ever wondered, why you fall in love in the first place if you had to go through such an ordeal after breakup. I am not saying that DON'T fall in love but asking the 'WHYs' do people WANT to fall in love?

I can't possibly answer the question too, but what I can tell you is that all the things in the world have 2 sides - POSITIVE/ NEGATIVE. Same goes for relationships, it can be the sweetest and most memorable things in the world or in your entire life but when you fall, it can be the deepest of the deepest abyss of sadness and sorrows that you can ever imagined.

It's our own choice then. That's why there are monks and nuns in the world who do not want to be involved in the realm of love relationships.

Singapore Flyer's Miscommunication caused my disappointment!

Quite appalled by the news that I cannot get up the flyer yesterday evening to watch the NDP fireworks because the person said I did not book in advance. The problem is that I did to enquire about the details on the ticket collection. They said I would be available for all slots for 09 Aug 2009... very disappointed about it... it make me feel that it's my fault rather than the flyer's call centre people's fault, it really sucks when it's a miscommunication at their side about the collection tickets. Haiz... in the end, we did not go up... sadded.

I am quite lucky today to have called into the MOST most MOST popular slots of YES 933, the morning show 就是万人迷. At first, thought that there wasn't a chance since the 1st person already called in, but she can't sing the song... so I just picked up my phone and dial again, and was working on my computer, was in a state of shock when I look at my phone and realise that I got through.

So much so that I forgot the lyrics but luckily JIA HUI helped me, and got the flyer tickets on National Day, hope they will contact me soon to get the tickets. I LOVE Yes 933, the best gift ever since I never been up the flyer before.

What is life in my perspective?

Something that encompasses majority of two elements - Happiness and Sadness.

It is either that you are happy or you are sad about life. I would categorise frustrations, vexed, anger and more under Sadness. What I can decribe sadness as is a general term to describe sadness, anger, frustrations and those associated with the negative thoughts. Happiness, do I even has the need to explain, I bet that most of you understand the meaning of being happy. Some may associate it with material needs, having fulfilled them makes them happy, others may simply states that "If all the people around me are happy, I will naturally be happy" a sort of influential and contagious feeling that one will get through this experience.

That I would most agreed upon.

Different people has their own definitions of happiness and sadness, it's depends on how you think, environment, friends and external factors which may alter your philosophy of happy and sad as you grow up. Your ideals may change for the better or even the worst, that is why people will suffered from depression when they were hit badly in the event of loss of child, family and the most significant the one they loved deeply.

You would ask this question frequently, how does some people be happy all the times? Take for example, I just finished watching a hong kong drama named 搜神传，there is one consistent ideal or rather quote which they conveyed throughout the whole show and I think that we should learn from the character in the drama even though she may be fictitious.

This is what she said, "Smile and good luck will naturally comes your way", simply means that stay happy, there aren't any obstacles or difficulties you cannot overcome, lady luck will naturally be on your side. Truthfully speaking, "do you believe in this kind of crap?", this will be the kind of statement when a pessimistic person will speak when he/she hears this statement, but it will be the opposite if it's an optimistic person.

It actually depends on that particular person whether to take such advice and external influences which may trigger the person to take up an advice. For example, this statement may be spoken from an important person in that person's life such as best buddy, father/mother or even teacher.

Will you heed such advice if someone was to tell you such statement? I believe majority won't, because they simply don't listen, but a handful will reflect and may take in the advice while one or two will be more than glad to follow what's the person says.

Life maybe full of ups and downs, what I think is that as long as you have one or two friends who will be there for you no matter what happens, you can consider to be one of the most luckiest person on earth, it's hard to find such friends. Be sure to cherish them.

I can proudly says I have, not one, not two but definitely more than three. Uncertainty, Unknown, Obstacles, and Difficulties maybe lying in the future ahead of us, BUT fear not, if there is a negative side of things, there will always be the good side, maybe this little belief can carry you at least that is what I believe in. No matter what, I can do it, I have been through and had braved through so why can't you?

It has been a long time since my last entry.

As a person who treasured my past, I can't bear to close down this blog of mine which has been with me for almost 4 years. Starting a new chapter of my life with this old friend of mine.

Story Title - The life after National Service

What will be of my life after national service? It had been 2 years serving Singapore as an admin support assistant, though it's a mundane job but I had gained experience and new friends through these 2 years, and had lost some too. What I can say, it's a valuable experience and I will treasure it. Thanks to Ellen, SKC, Stallone and Rayson for all their support and guidance. Pardon me for my mistakes.

Now it's a whole new life standing ahead of me, unknown lingers ahead but I will brave it through. Just like the countless interviews that I had been too and finally landed on the E-Commerce Job at BASF the chemical company. Luckily, all my colleagues are so nice to me, even my direct superior haha. I felt that most of life have been a smooth sail and hope it will continue on too, wish that it will be for my 2 younger brothers too.

All my friends are also stepping into a new life of their own, envy those whom can enjoy uni campus life and hopes they can fare excellently in their studies amidst those fun and laughter. For those who is going into the work life like me, hope you can find a high paid stable job too and quickly embark on your university studies when you have enough money. For those who are currently studying, all the best la!

I believe that no matter how busy we will in future, we will still meet up sometimes to chill, and chat. Like the minds cafe outing, it's never be the same without Yuhong and the rest with your blurness, and forever so funny actions and laughters. EM by the River khakis, haahaa ya chilling out with you is really good, let's do it more often.

Dreadful Day

Some fine day which I wrote this entry on a bus in the morning when I was going to work. That's convenient with a smart phone like G900...

The entry goes...

Today, the last work day of the week, woke up as per normal, or perhaps a bit later than usual but still manageable, the thought of spending one of my precious weekends in camp tomorrow dreads me. It's just like the bus knows that I am late than usual. It's late too but i knew the reason the moment I saw the uncle, the snail driver, kept dragging the bus. Think that I will be late today.

Though today I am late, it's the same old people I see every morning so guess that the bus is indeed late this morning.

I know that it's quite lame, but it's the same old dreadfulness every morning IF i met that snail driver, just that that morning, the overall dreadfulness rating was a bit high due to the upcoming weekend guard that coming Saturday.

This is bad... I really don't know what to do sia, seems that I kept making colleagues around me unhappy, even though I already toned down... Just like today, I could have give way to Sta. when I argued with him today but unfortunately I didn't, think that I pissed him off or something.

It's really quite difficult to decipher his mood sia, dunno when is when....
Felt like that he kept pinpointing me all these days, felt like asking,
"Sta. what's wrong with you, did I piss you off in any areas?"

Like today for instance, really donno how to apologise to him, can't bring myself to say it, haiz... just my ego la.. what the hell! Lolx... sometimes he really used strong words on me la, really a bit sad la and pissed off...

These questions just popped out suddenly when I was on the bus on my way home from my jog in Gombak Stadium.
Strange right to be thinking of all those questions when I don't even have a GirlFriend... haha

But being a 21 year old this year, I think it's time all these things and questions start coming into your mind, HELLO not a child anymore, think of it, another 9 YEARS you will be turning 30 and you won't want yourself to be the one left on the shelf right?

WOWwww... suddenly you finds that adulthood is not easy at all!!!

There's already things to ponder about NOW... like studies (degrees), jobs, savings etc... so that you can pave your way to lead a better life in future, to fulfill your dreams and goals...

Haha... you think adult is fun? is cool? is worried-free? Think again man, adults always say to us kids when we were younger then,
"haiz, how I wish we were back in the good old days when we were students, just have to study... no need worry so much.."
and guess what kids always reply, "Good mehz? Studying very stress, got a lot of homework and exams and if exams failed, very jialat de..."

Now come to think of it... do you envy the life of a student?

I think I will,
and I think I will cherish my life as a student in any university,
because after that you will be stepping into the working world,
like it or not, you will have to live with it for the rest of your life before you retires...

Today at 5.30pm, we were held back by Mdm Sim for the lecture on the proper opening and closing of the cabinet, lolx... and all of us have to try locking and unlocking it... though no difference for the second drawer as it's already been spoilt by somebody...

Come to think of it, everyone has their shortcomings.

I can't blame someone for their shortcomings, indeed there is someone in office whose job is like so easy yet he doesn't do his job well, I am not afraid to say out the person's name. But it's just not very good to say so in a public portal, those who are my colleagues should know who the person is.

Not that I like to arrow people, like to speak bad things about people, it's just that how can anyone says things that is not very pleasant in front of that person who is the main character in that conversation? I want to learn from him/her if he/she can does that.

He did improved after being micro-managed by my superior but deproved only after such a short while. Worst still, new jobscope given to him, he doesn't do it. He also don't file his letters, all through the week, only doing 1 jobscope!

I am really very detested by his working attitude.
Hope that somehow something can raise his morale, so that he can do his work much more properly and seriously?

Busy + Frustrated + Gek Sim

Been quite busy these few weeks, and had been cabaling for quite a long while. Judging from my previous entry, I think you will get what I meant.

First and foremost, CABAL is an online MMORPG, once you starts, you get hooked to it, especially with friends around you playing the game too, just like me. I can spent my weekends from morning to night playing the game! Bad thing is that you have NO LIFE la, good thing is that you can save much money when you don't go out on weekends.

But as you can see, I stopped my gaming frenzy, finds that it's getting boring by the days. So I switched to animes instead.

YA... NTU and NUS rejections made my life miserable....

Have to go around searching for suitable private institutions to take up for a degree...

Reading forums online to see if there's any negative feedbacks, whether the university is recognised in the areas that you want to study in... blah blah...

Thinking of all those had made me feel damn frustrated and helpless... eventually narrowing down to 2 choices...

SMA - Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (Majoring in PR and Journalism) by Murdoch University

SIM - Bachelor of Communication in Mass Communication by RMIT

I went for the SIM course, because I felt that SIM has the whole school feeling and RMIT is more well known than Murdoch ba, or isit not? Haiya I dun care la...

Each and everyone has their own working style, it's just that there is a more efficient way of completing that certain job, you just can't simply go up to him and tell him to work the way you work when you go about tackling the job.

WHY does he needs an attached staff to follow him for despatch when the attached staff can proved to be useful elsewhere...besides the job can be done by 1 person...

WHY does he needs to pull out the files when there is no room to contain the pulled out files, when there aren't any storage space in the other department for him to do the transfer, when he jolly well knows that the week after we will be assisting in the shifting of level 2 stuff to level 3 and we have no time to do these stuffs? AND what is he doing most of the time using the computer? He should knows himself, better than anyone in the room... WHAT is he doing when the attached staff is helping him to pull files... he should knows...

I chose to remain silent is to not want to blow things up, don't want the whole issue to be ugly... I did tried my best to keep everything as normal but too bad others can see my feelings and actions towards him... then let it be... there's nothing I can do to change that... I am that kind of person when another person treat me badly, I will pay back the same treatment to that particular person... Though I know that you can't expect that person to change his/her attitude for you but as long as I can see a change in his/her attitude for the better, I naturally will accept him/her... it's fair though.

A place of Diversity

Yesterday was a great day for me... enjoyed the fun filled day except for the terrible heat when we combed the streets at night in Geylang. Lolx... I went there not for prostitution la... stop letting your mind wandering off the track...

One of my National Service mate stayed there and we were having a little mahjong session at his house... lucky me, won a few bucks which were became my dinner money later on. The dinner were sumptous as the serving for each dish was simply HUGE... There were chilli fish (very nicely fried and chillied), sambal kangkong, Mussels, Tofu in gravy and "Gou Lo Yok"...

The most surprising part of the day was Jin Kai's house, it really brings you back to the sixties... wow... looks like an improvised malay styled kampong... though didn't have a chance to explore around his house but I bet it must be an eye opener if I got the chance... it's already a valuable experience to even be in his house... haha...

Back to after dinner, what can we do after dinner? Of course is to explore around the neighbour hood of Geylang... haha what can you expect to see after sun down in Geylang... the sex servants who earned money by providing sexual services to clients... it's really a mixture of people from different countries... what I did realised is the increasing numbers of China Woman... sad case sia, there are also indians, philipinos (if I never mistaken) and of course Transexuals etc... haha
yups... and of course a lot of pimps there to grab customers for their girls... some are really damn young, I felt sad for them, having to waste their lives just like that, might as well go get a job since you have perfectly fine legs and hands...

I Hate Manually Controlled Robots

OOoh it's getting late and I am getting real tired... just a brief entry today.

Why do I say I Hate Manually Controlled Robots?

You should know that it's just so difficult to control a robot with a controller compared to an artificially intellgence where all the commands are keyed into their system and they just do the chores that you want them to do... right?

Sometimes people are just like that, never be 'ZHI DONG', automatic in english... one should know when to do certain things and when not to do certain things, it's just so irritating when someone steps onto your tail... it's just so simple... don't do things on the expense of other's convenience...

Be 'AUTO' la sometimes, don't wait till other people comes and tell you off then you knows what ought to do and what not ought to do, just like what my letter upper describes such people as "winner tuk tuk"....

Journey to the NORTH & EAST!

Yes... my journey to the northeastern and eastern part of Singapore... lolx...

so FAAaaaaaR! But it was fun and informative, the tour guide gave a lot of information and background whenever we reached a place and during the journey to that particular destination..

Sometimes I really wondered if time allows, she will just go on and on and on... wahahaa...

The first stop was to a temple around Upper Serangoon Road called the Nine Emperors' Temple... it's the oldest Teochew temple in Singapore! Used to have a chinese styled Kampong in it but it's gone when the old lady left... sad that we did not get to see it...

and of course a well still in use in the temple itself!

We went to a coffeeshop for a short break before we proceeded to a longest surviving crocodile farm in Singapore just opposite the temple... it's a home business, but now it's only breeds crocodiles for education tours... wow it's a eye opener as I had never been to a crocodile farm before... it's one of the most interesting of all the destination we had been to today...

Yups... the nest one was also nearby... a japanese cemetry amidst a private housing estate (bungalows and terraces), it's surprising though to have a cemetry in there...

The interesting part of the cemetry are the tombstones, they are four sides and most shaped like a monument, eh I mean short one la, you know that kind which is pointed towards the top instead of a flat plateau...

Yups and the whole atmosphere is like you are in Japan itself! Beacause it's so japanese, there is also a Mido Hall (if I pronounced correctly) in the cemetry, and it's jap style...so cool la... haha

Then we went all the way to Pasir Ris to the SAND farm, only bypassing, we just saw hills and hills of sand in the farm and the tour guide explains the constraints Singapore faces when Malaysia and Indonesia cut off the supply of Singapore sand etc etc...

BUT it happened on our dear REGISTRY boy...
We went gym today, nic told me that he forgot to bring towel then I told him, nothing major though sure can do without it...

Just when we were about to start gyming, he realised that he did not bring his SHOES back from office, OMG!!!! The best thing is that he actually does gyming for 1 HR in my NICKERMAN Sandals without getting caught haha....Lucky dude...

As expected... the results of the Malaysian Elections is what the papers and I predicted... The BN will win the elections BUT they are unable to secure the 2/3 majority in the parliament. WOW... this time the BN really lost big time, a total of 5 states won by the opposition parties - Kedah, Perak, Penang, Selangor and Kelatan.

I wondered the losses under the leadership of PM Adullah will eventually threaten his position as Malaysia's Prime Minister. Especially when the largest party in Malaysia - UMNO questions his losses in this elections. Will his position still be stable under these pressure.

Even former PM Matthair had spoken... instead of encouraging words, he said that he should have chosen the current Deputy PM Najib as PM instead of PM Adullah! WOW... !!!!

I think the Singapore Government must be eyeing the elections very seriously, hope to learn something from the elections... so that we, Singapore won't be stepping into the same path as the BN did...

ok enough of politics... how about some opinions of me, myself and I...

I know my character too well... once I don't like someone, or that person disgust me, it will take quite long for me to change my views about him/her. That's a minus points about me. Unless he/she does something major that changes my views about him/her or over a period of time my views on him/her changes for the better. IF not... quite hard la...

Malaysia's Elections Today!

Today's Malaysia's Elections, I wondered what will be the results?
Will it be the speculation that The Barison Nasional (BN) will not be able to secure its 2/3 of the parliament seats under the leadership of PM Adullah Badawi? This, I am not very sure.

But judging from what the reports on Malaysia's Elections, based on my own opinions will be that the opposition this round are indeed strong but they will not win BN, instead they pose a threat to BN securing the 2/3 parliament seats.

The consequences of unable to secure the 2/3 parliament seats will mean a change of the Prime Minister of Malaysia and serious consequences ensued... The last time when this issue happened, it was in the 1960s and racial riots broke out... will this happened this round?

The minorities such as the Chinese and Indians are indeed unhappy towards the current governement due to it's more Malay dominated and I think they neglect the welfare and interest of their races which resulted in the recent Indian riot that happened in Malaysia...

With the instability of necessities such as cooking oil, it indeed added to the discontent of Malaysians over the current government... plus the scandal that Mr Anwar exposed of the government fixing high court judges... the opposition will bite on this news to gain their voters' vote.

Let's wait and see the results then... but I seriously in doubt that BN can secure the 2/3 parliament seats...

Obama, Hillary or McCain for America?

I have been reading the news on the American Elections... I often wondered will America chooses its very first Black President or Female President? Or goes back to the supporter of the Iraq War guy John McCain just like the current Bush Reign?

Everything is still uncertain... the only thing that's confirmed is the Presidency Candidate for the Republican is John McCain... lolx when his the other competitor gave up voluntarily. I heard from the news that a lot of americans object to the Iraq War suggestion thus John McCain percentage of supporters are lower than that of Hillary and Obama.

In my opinions, the current percentage of supporters among the three of them is inaccurate... come on you think if Obama wins the presidency candidate for his party, the long time prejudice and racist against Blacks will be dissolved at that instance? Do you really think that as a white men country (America), the whites will want to be ruled by a Black? They will have no other choice but to vote for McCain even though they do not want another Mr Bush...

Seeing from another perspective, there might be a chance that Hillary will win and be America's First Lady President if she compete against McCain... because she is a white, she don't support the Iraq War and she push for foreign policies... but she maybe living in the shadow of Clinton if she is unable to be independent... Judging from the run against Obama... I don't think that she will win judging from the votes that Obama is leading...

All in all... it will all depends on America whether they are open enough to accept a Black President? or They would rather accept another likeable Bush administration or they prayed for Hillary to win which is highly unlikeable... Let's see how it will goes from her...

And you are being flung 15m away into a drain...

That's what happened to a Flippino lady who was knocked down by a cab at around Siglap area, it was reported in the papers today... I really pitied how the innocent lady died, died in a terrible way... especially for a lady.

Wo... imagine you were an onlooker that day when the fatal accident took place, it must have been a sight to behold which will etched into your mind forever and ever.

Really don't what the damned cab driver doing... must be sleeping, as a matter of fact, the papers didn't report on how the accident happened anyway... must be pending police investigations.

Bus Service Sucks...

The bus service is getting on my nerves once again...

I don't see the improvement on the interval of the buses in peak hours despite the increase of bus fares since last year! Today after I got off from SMRT 176 at Jurong East, I waited for the bus service 334 (which I thought should have came in regular intervals), the first bus came, but it's full of people, so I thought I could wait for the next bus service BUT the 2nd bus came, though there are still space for passengers to get up BUT BUT BUT it did not STOP! It's quite frustrating provided the amount of time I waited for the bus service. It's like SMRT 176 had came by the bus stop 3 times while I waited for the bus 334!

It's peak hour I know that, but the bus stop is like 1 stop from the bus interchange... there is no reason that there are no spaces for the passengers to board the bus unless the bus intervals for that bus service is not ample to provide for the amount of crowd at that period of time. This will cause commuters waiting for the bus at other bus stops besides the bus interchange to be frustrated and angry...

Haiz... what to do...

Just hope that the bus service can improve... to provide better service for the people in Singapore.

Today's EMO day for everyone and a NO WHERE to go day for me then...

This morning, I went for the NTU ART, DESIGN and MEDIA faculty test, it was not easy nor was it difficult... don't know how to describe the test. Just hope that I can get into the university. That's all I want at that instance is to GET IN GET IN GET INto the course...

Haha... yups I was surprised that there were so many people sitting for the test, it's like the chances of getting in was halfed when I saw them... so many minds competing, really don't have that much confidence if I could get in... now what I can do is CROSSED FINGERS...

Yups.. I met Alan (my cousin) who booked out this morning just for this test, really happy that I could see someone familiar among the unfamiliar faces... although there are really noone whom I knows haha.

Back to topic on why I declare today EMO day?
It's because of John and Rayson... Rayson's answer to John's question seemed to piss him off and John told me through SMSes when I asked what happened, wanted to like clear things up by organising an outing tonight but Rayson don't want... it's like what the hell... then Rayson told me that he had messaged John and now awaiting for his reply... hopes everything can turns out fine between the two of them.

See what I mean... bottled up frustration can easily be let out with the slightest emotional unstability... Testing someone's tolerance to the limit is something that you shouldn't even do though you and him are good friends.

And why I declared today's NO WHERE to go day for me...
Because today is CSCC day (dinner and dance)
BUT no one from my batch is going...
Actually I want to do some criticism...
The publication sucks... ....

2. Notification of the event is like only 5 days before...

Sports Day...

Wow... finally there are some working out today man...
Think been putting on lots of weight these days especially after Chinese New Year with all the goodies coming around like a 10 course dinner, steamboat, pineapple tarts etc.

Can't find time to excercise after the whole CNY thingy due to the fact that I have a driving test to pass and after the driving test, still need to rush out the NTU stuffs for admission. Hectic life sia... luckily I didn't have to stay in or else I really dead by then.

Yups today's soccer not bad, only let in 3 balls as a goalkeeper for the whole match, reasonable though... but basketball was shit... we kena trashed like nobody's business, it's like 11-1 and 11-2 haha... guessed we are quite weak after all.

Winning and Losing are just part of the game... Having fun and enjoying the whole process is what I thought all of us had as a team today although we are beaten.

Ok... back to the BIG news these 2 days... The Prison Break Guy - MAS SELAMAT...
In my opinions, it's like damn impossible to escape from the detention centre, with the so very tight security measures these 'PRISON' have... even if he escaped, there are so many guards and video cameras around, wouldn't these people detect a single trace unless all of them are sleeping soundly at their workplace... and come on... the time was just 4 plus PM not like 12 midnight or wee hours in the morning that he escaped and furthermore I heard he was limping...

I am just wondering how this superb guy manages to pass through undetected... it's seemed like a great stunt provided he manages to bribe everyone in that detention centre... and it's like 2 days and the government still have not found the convict... I would say this MAS SELAMAT guy is something man... to manage to escape and stay hidden this long...

Anyway, I praised the Singapore Government for manages to be able to keep Singapore so safe and sound all these years... so we can't blame the government for letting this case to happen... although it would be good that such BIG CASE should be prevented at all cause to be happening given all the tight security measures... As nothing is flawless and perfect... the government thus should be reviewing what's went wrong with the security in the detention centre at a later stage when all is stablised.

The prime concern now to us SINGAPOREANS is that we are hoping that this man be caught so that we can work, play and do whatever we wants in peace without having to concern that there is someone out there who will threaten our lives...

yups yups... guess we should do our part too by reporting this guy whereabouts if we are so lucky to see him around Singapore.

Finally, I got my LICENCE... so fast less than a month after I passed my driving test on the 12 Feb'08... wohoooo!!!

Yups... as you can see my blog is FINALLY REVAMPED... promised my readers that I will keep on blogging k?

Anyway quite a number of events happened recently... first and foremost... Just celebrated my 21st Birthday on 1,2 and 3 February! Kena sabotaged as usual... and I passed my Driving Test on 12 february and the next is I got a chance to take the ART, DESIGN and MEDIA faculty test this coming SAT MARCH 1st... Hope that I can get in... if successful, then this will be my 3rd BIG event... and I will be damn happy la.

In office...
as usual filing of the letters... SIANZIFIED but what to do, it's my job, must find fun in doing that. Cleared a big pile then another big pile comes in...

Hopes that I will clear it and GOOD LUCK to me on my faculty test on SAT!!!

Updates on my Life yet again...

People are getting much moodier this week, with the ever mountaineous amount of work and the nice weather for slacking, no one has the mood to do work at all but work don't pity us, igett just kept coming, left with no choice, one's mood will get nasty.

I am a living example, with the increasing work load, I just can't stand those people who slacks around while other people are working, it's just an eye sore. But there are such people! You can't choose what you want to work, you just have to accept whatever that's given to you. Sometimes you just can't get whatever you want in life, that's a FACT! Complaining, Whining and Throwing Tantrums just don't change anything, you just had to work since you are in this workplace.

Yups... sometimes I just hope that some people will be more 'automatic' a bit, there's a time to play, there's a time to work, just work seriously and you can play crazily later. That's my philosophy when I am at work.

I also knows that when the superior is not around, of course can slack a bit la, but don't cross the line, you still have to work a bit what.

Anyway the whole p-file section + Mdm Gracia, Mdm Sim and Wai Peng just went for a dim sum feast yesterday afternoon to celebrate Zheng Jie's ORD, at Miramar Hotel. I would say that it was a very very full lunch which last me till night without having to eat dinner at all.

There is a particular staff who is an AUNTIE, was very particular about the amount of food we ordered, keeping persuading us to order lesser food when we wanted to order more, it was quite infuriating though as we are the ones paying not her. And the fact was that her supervisor didn't even said anything ad she keep yakking away as if she is the boss. What the hell la, I would have reprimanded her if I was in the bad mood then. Miramar Hotel should do something about her man, she should put it in a nicer way when she wants to persuade us to order lesser food, at least with a nicer tone, a smile not a blackened face and kept staring at us.

This kind of service just sucks, I am wondering how is this hotel going to go the extra mile for service when there are such staff around.

At night, after work, John, Stallone, Rayson and Me went to Bugis to do some window shopping and POOL. Overall, it was fun, it's just that the ride home on bus was quite long though.

Nothing happens much recently.

Just that recently, a few attached staff who dropped out from air-force came to the p-file department plus a new permanent staff for HRSC.

Let me describe them one by one based on what impression they gave me until now.

1. Conrad (white hair guy)
Hardworking, a man of few words when he came in, we all thought that he is a quiet person, lolx... but after a week, he opens up and even went dinner with rayson and I and goes gyming too. Looks can be deceiving though...wahaha

2. Gerard (smoker) sorry don't know how to spell his name...
Hmm... don't seems to know him too well, just knows that he smokes literally and 'smoke' during worktime... but he seems to be a nice guy.

3. Alaric (known him as a tall tall guy)
Though he is not that tall, but he is taller than the rest of us, haha he always carries a smile and sticks to Jaden, not much information known to us.

4. Jaden (talkative CPL)
Haha, the first time I heard his voice was when I was doing filing among the racks, thought that someone had switched on the MP3 because it's a women's voice, never had I expected it to be his voice! Very sociable and talkative guy but he also does his job. Always comes to work in a very short shorts. That's the funny thing.

5. Marcus (The Ultimate Ninja)
He is a mixed... though he looks like a malay, but his mother is a Eurasian and father a Chinese I think. He always does disappearing act, because he hides somewhere where people can't catch him for sleeping. Indeed, he is good at hiding (a skill learn in BMT?), still getting to know him better though not as efficient worker as I hopes he is...

6. Yao Liang (Bachelor Joker)
Heard from Jaden and John that this guy already obtains a degree from some university, though his first day was only yesterday, he can makes Stallone laughs like crazy, and I experienced his humour today, it was indeed funny... great person to be friend with.

Did I said in the beginning of my blog entry that nothing much happens recently? Oops.. think I should take back my words, there will be probably MORE things that will happen in the p-file department for the next few months with these people hanging around.

The Good Old Times

Finally back to blogging...

Yesterday was another saturday which I stayed out till the wee hours, this time with Ziqing, Daryl and Kevin. Glad to be back in the good old days. Really enjoyed the feeling.

Anyway, before that was just dinner at Vilage WITH ONLY me and ziqing, kevin joined us later. All night, was just army talk... I was like once again been motivated to go chiong suah again after being pampered in the comfortable air-con office and love from the p-file warriors, haha!

Lolx... it's like so much FUN in BMTC. Sianz... haha.

Yups... after that just aimless walking in orchard... and the army talk, actually I really enjoyed the sharing of their experience during army with one another. Wish I could do the same...

After that, we rotted at Long John Silver at Cathay Cineleisure, until Daryl came... then we rotted somemore till around 11 plus to 12, searching for place for pool, but the K pool at Cine was like packed and noone was interested in gaming - at least in my opinions.

Thus we made our move to the suggested place - Clarke Quay by walking.

But we never made it there, we ended up in Parklane Mall beside Paradiz Centre and went into a bar called GOSSIPS... yups... we can see girls dancing pole dance... yups.

We just ordered beer in the form of a small water dispenser, I was like thinking the possibility of finishing the water dispenser, but as usual, we managed to finish it by playing TAI DI... haha think I drank a lot la...

I admit I was like seh = drunk by the time we went out of the pub... anyway we won back $20 by scratching some cards... lucky sia. haha

Daryl and I shared a cab, and all I remembered was that the ATM was like out of order, cannot get any cash... and I wanted to take Night OWL/RIDER home but daryl insist of taking a cab with me and then, I and he were in the CAB.

Yups... after daryl alighted and the taxi driver was like hit the highway, I was like knocked out in the taxi without me knowing, the next thing I knew was that the uncle was calling me and I was like in Jurong le.

By the time the taxi reached my house void deck, I was like on the verge of vomitting, tolerating my vomit by gulping down saliva and searching for money to pay the taxi driver.

The moment I step out of the taxi, I vomitted inches from the stationary car, the car was considered lucky that I did not vomit on the car! ahahaha...

I see spiders spinning their cobwebs again
in my little blog of mine. Nothing happens much
in my life anyway.

I didn't find a reason to blog either.
My life is just like a cup of plain water,
plain and calm. Life goes on as usual.

Every morning, go to work in cmpb,
as a p-file permanent staff. Actually I should
be on MC by now, it's just that the doctor
can't squeeze in my operation the day before,
thus was postphoned to 30th October, around 1
week from now.

So unpredictable right, at the last minute. Haha,
guess that's my life anyway.

Oh that time, saw daryl in cmpb, haha he went for
the airforce compass test, said it was quite difficult.
Wondered if he would pass the test a not.

Didn't have much entertainment for most of my
weekends, it's just gym, swimming, taking driving lesson
and spending time with my mum. Yups.

Kinda miss the times where I often go out with
my poly friends on weekends, but they also going
into army le, difficult to meet up with them liaoz.

Haha. Maybe there will be time... for some gatherings
once in a blue moon? Perhaps, I wondered.

Finally went out with my friends after gym,

hmm... okay la it was quite nice though a bit short,
anyway he is not there too...

Went to Ninja to have our dinner,
nothing much, after the fireworks,
went to Carl's Junior after aimlessly
wandering in the shopping mall.

Daryl and Sel joined us afterwhich,
Just Chit Chat for sometime before heading home.

Met the CSCC Juniors Peeps along the way,
ahaha funny people, felt much easier and at ease
with them.

Seems that everyone is getting on with their lives quite well though...

Haha... Kinda miss them a bit for now, although only haben met up with them
for like 2 weeks... Maybe it's just me getting too used to meeting them every
week. It's good in a way that they won't be caught in an awkward situation if
the both of us turn up... spoiling the mood completely

Today Kristie messaged me about a suggested getaway from Singapore to either Phuket
or Rendang in August. I thought it was a good idea, but but but... I think it's better to
leave me out la... I have still yet to recuperate enough...

Furthermore, my operation is in August... doubt it's a good idea to go overseas, though
I still have 8 days of leave to clear and a 1/2 Off. Yups...

Hope they have fun... if they are going... Haha

Anyway, to my NS life... nothing great happened, just that I managed to do my
very 1st Sentry Duty today... Hmmm... nothing much too... just some ushering,
checking and changing of passes.

Today, my I/C also announced the 'UNDERS' for the ORD personnels, yups Rayson
became Derrek's Under, Stallone - Victor's Under and ME became the POSTMAN!
Shyan Jun's Under. Still got loads to learn sia... hope I could really cope with the
large jobscope of SJ.

Really and I meant it... A Million Thanks to those who
were there for me when I needed one.
The Worst had passed, and Life still has to go on...

I have learnt to move on,
To get on with my own life,
There in't any use of dwelling and mulling over this matter,
The Facts are things you are not able to alter,
They aren't within your control,
But choosing the path to happiness and saddness is within my control,
Why torture myself to remain in the Kingdom of despair,
There are still much in life to experience,

After the consolation and advice from my dearest
friends, I have chosen to be happy, but I need time to
recuperate from this ordeal, and I believe I could.

Because if I failed, the consequence will be that I will lost
a True Friend and I am not prepared to do so.

I cry like there is no tommorrow,
I cry till my hearts out,
My tears was like an open tap,
That flows on and on,
My eyes are red and puffed,

I refused to believe the facts,
The hard cold facts,
I chose to avoid and filter,
Act as if there is nothing happened,

Why has this happened to me,
I kept asking why,
Why ME, Why Why Why,
I am at a lost,
I do not know what to do,
Nothing and No one can comfort me,

I felt terrible, idiotic, foolish, sad, depressed,
I just kept crying and crying...
It's nobody's fault,
It's just my problem of avoiding,
Unable to face them.
Sorry.

Need time,
Maybe time will prevails everything,
Maybe time will fade off all feelings,
I just wished,
I just hoped,
that time will let me face the facts.

Firstly, I would like to thank the 2 girls who gave me
their support during my down days... Haha though I
am still in the midst of it but feeling better after their
consolation and encouragement.

Kristie. Pauline. Thanks A LOT. It meant a lot to me for
being able to lend a listening ear and comfort me when
I am really down. Though only just a message or a simple
short meet up, it was essential and valueable to me.

Really appreciate it.

Life as said is full of ups and downs, and this may be one
of my major DOWN in my life, I am trying hard to overcome
it and be back to my usual smiley self again.

Hope that as Pauline suggested, surrounds myself with friends
will helps...

and keeping myself busy will helps...

It had been quite an emotional rollercoaster for me for the last few days, it felt as though the whole world had collapsed upon me and I am desperately struggling out of the debris caused by the collapsed world.

Lots of problems regardless work, personal, relationships and family had cropped up screwed my mood and routine life for the past 2 weeks. It was beyond my imagination that such strong feelings could turned one’s mood so drastically, a moment you are jovial and smiling, the next moment, you turned into an autistic person who shuns others and speaks no word at all. Sometimes I really thought that I had fallen into the category of depression.

There were no one whom I could air my desperation to, or maybe that’s what I felt. Maybe… I just don’t want to spoil their moods, disturbed the lives of others just because that I am sad and need a person to talk to. I had always confided my problems to Regar Moss, it’s just that I can’t do it now because it concerns him.

It’s undeniable that we are best of friends; there is nothing on earth which we can’t discuss or talk about… but since the broke up with Marilyn Hills, things had gone horribly wrong. Regar sort of voluntarily acts as a middleman between Marilyn and me, trying to patch us up.

I never knew the real reason of the broke off until several months later when Regar prompt me to stop avoiding Marilyn and go on to have a decent chat with her instead. I found out the real reason over the breakup and found it acceptable but to some of my friends, they say that it’s totally absurd! It’s just any other reasons to pacify the other party and make him less raged about the whole breakup.

There is also one thing that I found out that is, Marilyn still has the feelings for me. I told myself that Marilyn and I were not suitable for each other and that even if we did patch up, the ending will still be the same. I will not allow myself to sink into the abyss of sadness ever again; the feeling is just so unbearable. Think that’s when Regar came into the picture.

It happened so that Regar began going out with her for dinners and movies, and it’s so happened that I found out about all these. Regar had not been truthful about these, maybe it’s because he does not want me to know as he doesn’t want to hurt my feelings or arouse my suspicion.

I felt a bit depressed at first that both of them were so close, but on the other hand, I felt that it was also good that both of them are hitting off so well. I even prompted Regar to go woo her… haha.

Maybe that’s when I felt all the sourness and jealousy but couldn’t aired them out, because I don’t want to hurt our friendship, he is my best friend after all. I just kept to myself and acts that nothing happens actually. But recently, I felt like I am avoiding Regar too, maybe unconsciously, seeing him just makes me think of Marilyn… it’s quite agonizing, but still, I acts as though nothing happens actually.

It’s just that I was prone to showing out my feelings on my face, and am quite a bad actor too. Guessed that Regar felt it too though, but he doesn’t says anything or maybe he didn’t notice anything at all, which will be better on my side, due to the fact that I hope he doesn’t knows about how I am feeling at this moment and I don’t want him to know either.

I felt that I am a fish monger selling fish, and a stingy merchant who gives to charity, being a hypocrite and I hate myself for that. Hope that things will get better and time can fade off my feelings for Marilyn. I just hope to be back to normal, and Regar will remain as my listener and a best friend, it will be a pity if I lost such friend to such minor problems.

Griddory Catt

I found this excerpt from one of the online readings on the web, I meant a book and I quote it down in my own blog. Because it somehow coincides with what I am feeling at this moment. Yups. Hope that Griddory will get over his problems soon and I will get over mine soon.

A little comment on the book, it’s quite informal judging from how the whole excerpt is written, felt as though he is writing on a blog and there is a bit of grammatical mistakes here and there. Haha.

My problems however will not be posted on this blog for personal reasons. Haha. But don’t worry I am fine k?

Pieces of my life & opinions...

Hello...

Here I am again... blogging my life again.

Nothing happens much actually, felt quite bad
that I had been staying out till morning for the
past 3 Saturdays...haha but luckily, my mum
didn't nag at me.

That's very fortunate...but still felt a little bad la,
because whenever I stayed out till morning, then
I will spend my time sleeping for the whole day on
Sunday... did not have much time with my mum.

Yups... hope that this stance that I do does not happens
every week.

Anyway, how do you feel being left out? Must feel very bad
right? If I am being left out, I will feel little sour inside...

Haiz, recently I felt that my friends and I had always left
somebody out whenever there is a gathering, didn't
realise at first until a conversation with that person, or that
person got to know of the particular gathering through a
third party, that person must have felt very bad inside.

Lolz... hope that we won't do that ever again. Yups and hope
that the person may feel better now ba.

Tommorow is D DAY, Graduation tml!!!! Will be an officially official
graduate from Singapore Polytechnic upon receiving my diploma!!!
